NFL Join the Team: Back to Football Friday

On Friday, September 10, 2010, in every city and small town across the country, the passion for NFL football teams will be on full display. In schools, office buildings, and local stores nationwide, every person will celebrate the first weekend of the new NFL season by wearing their favorite team’s gear.

This fall the NFL and United Way are teaming up for Back to Football Friday, a first-of-its-kind campaign to make youth health and wellness a nationwide priority. We are encouraging fans of all ages to show their NFL team pride at work and in school on Friday, September 10th, in celebration of the start of the NFL season and to join our efforts to end childhood obesity.

AT YOUR OFFICE:

Individuals can support United Way youth health and wellness by wearing their favorite football gear to work and encouraging their colleagues to do the same. The employer or group of individuals that show the most NFL team pride will receive an office celebration hosted by the NFL.
